Save The Children Christmas Jumper Day and our Christmas Cake Raffle

This year we took part in the Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day as part of our festive fund-raising events. In addition our annual Christmas Cake raffle raised even more funds for good causes.

Bumper jumper turn-out for Save the Children charity

Staff replaced their general office garb for festive knitwear in aid of December’s Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day.

A colourful range of jumpers and tops were displayed in the office although some were tasteful and others not so! Everyone got in to the festive spirit as we played a selection of Christmas tunes and served some nibbles.

Those who joined in with the woolly shenanigans donated £2 each and consequently we raised £60 for the Save the Children charity. Brilliant.

Christmas Cake Raffle raises money for Southmead Hospital

Our ever-popular Christmas Cake raffle was drawn on Friday 20th December. Our thanks again go to advisers Phil and Barry for giving up their Edmiston Sisters Christmas cake for the raffle. Competition to win the edible work of art was fierce as usual and tickets were snapped up.

And the winner is … Tony! Well done to him. Congrats also go to second prize winner Sharon who won a box of chocolates.

Thanks to everyone who bought tickets – we raised £73 for the Southmead Hospital Charity.
