Employee Benefits Administrator Debbie Adlam had a fantastic day out along with nearly 700 others! The occasion was the Big Bristol Ramble, which is part of the nationwide Countryfile Ramble for BBC Children in Need.
The 2.7 mile walk was led by TV presenter Adam Henson. The route started at the Clifton Observatory, and went across the Clifton Suspension Bridge then through the Ashton Court Estate. The extremely changeable South West weather was on side for the event, with gloriously warm sunshine throughout.
A triumphant Debbie said of the event “It was amazing to see the stream of yellow Children in Need hats snaking across the route of the Big Bristol Ramble. I remember crossing the suspension bridge and looking back to see how brilliantly colourful it looked with all the hats. Just fabulous! The atmosphere was such fun, people were smiling wherever you looked.”
Debbie's sponsorship for the event along with a donation from Brighton Williams, has raised £65 to the charity.
Well done to Debbie and everyone who took part in the event.
