Bristol Many Tears Buddies held their second Christmas Fayre on 24 November 2018. The event took place at Henfield Hall and looked was set to top the success of last year.

Lots of different items for sale

The Buddies’ stall was set out selling handmade dog beds, knitted dog coats and lots of donated doggy-related items.

All the available stall spaces were taken up by fourteen more traders. A wide range of items was offer, such as beauty products; books; jewellery; hand-painted crafts; art; cakes; and gifts. The fayre was so successful that many traders have already made a commitment to next year’s event.

Raffles and Facebook sales boost amount raised

The Buddies raised just under £2,000 at the event. The proceeds from 'hot chocolate reindeer faces' and 'reindeer food' stocking filler sales on Facebook will be added to this.

More cash was raised from a raffle to win a huge wooden reindeer which was donated by Simon Stiddard Carpentry. The luxury hamper raffle also went down well and boosted the total raised.

Many volunteers for Many Tears

The Buddies work tirelessly to raise much needed funds for the Many Tears Animal Rescue Centre.

The Carmarthenshire-based charity is always a step away from crisis. They constantly  battle to raise enough funds to deal with the growing demand on their service. Every penny raised by Bristol Many Tears Buddies goes towards helping to care and provide for the rescued animals. In most cases their lives have been completely empty of care, love and basic necessities until their arrival.

You can join the Bristol Many Tears Buddies Facebook page if you would like to know more about the work they do. All support is welcomed.
